Fourthwalling: i prefer no direct fourth walling (as in, telling bigby he's a video game character), but obviously it's totally okay for your character to know who the big bad wolf is and what's written about him in fairy tales!
Offensive subjects (elaborate): none for me, but bigby's canon deals with themes of murder and (forced) prostitution. it's not very likely to come up unless there's a very specific thread about it, however.
